Brass Reducing Elbow M/F
Reducing Male/Female Brass Elbow screw-in fitting, allowing a 90° direction change while reducing the diameter of your pipe. This fitting combines two functions in a single piece: deviation and reduction. ISO 228-1 BSPP standard.
Reducing M/F Brass Elbow Description
This reducing elbow allows you to simultaneously make a 90° direction change and a diameter reduction. The male (threaded) side has a larger diameter than the female (tapped) side, enabling the transition between two different pipe sizes.
Assembly by simple screwing without soldering. Particularly useful in configurations where space is limited and two functions need to be combined at a single connection point.

- Installation: Apply a moderate tightening torque and choose suitable materials (risk of galvanic corrosion). Wrench flats compatible with standard wrenches.

Installation tips
- Use PTFE tape (Teflon) or hemp to ensure sealing on male threads
- For flat gasket seats, use a flat gasket with a minimum thickness of 1 mm
- Tighten with an open-end wrench or adjustable wrench — do not use pliers to avoid marking the fitting
- Apply a moderate tightening torque — excessive tightening can damage the thread
