2D pipe assembly configurator

This free tool calculates in real time the centre-line dimensions of a plumbing assembly built with EN 10242 malleable iron fittings (black or galvanised) and threaded steel tubes, from 1/4" to 4". Add the parts one after another, rotate multi-outlet fittings (elbows, tees, crosses, manifolds), and instantly get the axis-to-axis length, the overall size and the exact length of each tube to cut.

• Elbows 90° and 45°, small and large radius, in female-female, male-female and male-male versions.
• Equal tees, 4-way crosses and Y manifolds.
• Sockets, double nipples, locknuts and detachable unions.
• Male and female plugs, flanges and floor plates.

The calculation is based on the z dimension (fitting centre to effective connection point), the ISO 7-1 thread engagement and the EN 10255 tube outside diameter. The tube lengths shown are the cutting lengths (engagement into the fittings is already accounted for).

Dimensions apply to raw malleable iron fittings (black, galvanised). Not applicable to painted “deco” fittings.
