Lamp switches

A lamp switch fits on the cable, between the light and the plug, so you can turn it on and off without unplugging it. A single-pole switch breaks one conductor; a double-pole switch breaks both.

Inline, with screw terminals

The cable connects straight to the switch terminals, with no soldering. Check the cross-section and number of cores stated on each product before choosing.
