Brass Female Plug
Brass female plug, screw-in, used to seal off a pipe or a male threaded fitting. Essential for neatly finishing a pipe run or temporarily closing off an outlet. Thread compliant with ISO 228-1 BSPP.
Description of the Brass Female Plug
This female (tapped) plug screws onto a male threaded component to hermetically seal the end of a circuit. It is compatible with all the male fittings of the same size sold on the site.
Its 6-sided shape allows easy tightening and loosening with a spanner. Solder-free assembly. In décor, the plug serves as an aesthetic finish to neatly complete an assembly of exposed brass fittings.

Installation tips
- Use PTFE tape (Teflon) or hemp to ensure sealing on male threads
- For flat gasket seats, use a flat gasket with a minimum thickness of 1 mm
- Tighten with an open-end spanner or an adjustable spanner — do not use slip-joint pliers, to avoid marking the part
- Apply a moderate tightening torque — overtightening can damage the thread
