This black cast iron 5-way distributor is ideal for making complex structures out of cast iron and steel plumbing fittings. It is compatible with all black cast iron fittings or galvanized ones and threaded black steel pipes or galvanized ones of the same size sold in our online shop. The parts simply screw together, without welding, making it easy to build strong assemblies.
Description of the 5-way distributor fitting
This 5-way black cast iron distributor will allow you to connect 5 pipes or fittings. It is particularly useful for making furniture or home fit-out structures, such as stool legs, table lamps, or coat racks. If you need a part with more outlets, you can turn to our distributors (up to 6 outlets).
5-way distributor features and uses
- The female (tapped) threads on this part are parallel gas threads (Rp, ISO 7-1 standard). They accept the tapered male threads (R, known as BSPT) of pipes and fittings of the same size.
- Screw-in depth, depending on the part screwed in and the tightening force:
