Plumbing fitting black cast iron female plug
This black cast iron female plug will allow you to add the finishing touch to your creation. It screws onto a male fitting or onto the end of a threaded pipe. It's a real piece of plumbing that can be used for plumbing or decorating! This Plug is compatible with all black or galvanised cast iron fittings and black or galvanised steel threaded pipes of the same size sold in our online shop. The parts simply screw together, without welding, to make strong assemblies easily.
Description of the black cast iron female Plug fitting:
This Plug is the essential part complete your project. Whether it's a table leg, a dispenser, a coat rack, or any other project, it will screw onto your fitting or pipe to hide the threads on your part.
The female plug has a hexagonal shape with 6 sides which makes it easy to screw on with a spanner. The top side is bevelled which avoids protruding angels that could get in the way in some uses.
The top face is flat which allows the piece to be used to make feet or any object that needs to be placed.
Plugs are also available in a male version to close a threaded connection (female).

Although we use our fittings for decoration, this is a genuine piece of plumbing made from white-core malleable iron that complies with EN 10242 and ISO49 standards. Superior quality and a guarantee of foolproof sturdiness!
The threads on this part are BSPT (ISO 7-1 standard) with a cylindrical female (tapped) end.
