Unlike a simple elbow, this "union" model integrates a free nut allowing the two parts of the fitting to be separated. This Male/Female configuration is particularly suitable for:
- Intervening without cutting: It allows you to dismantle a section of piping or replace a device (pump, valve) without having to saw the tubes or dismantle the entire network.
- Adjusting alignment: It facilitates the connection between two fixed pipes or equipment whose threads are not perfectly synchronized for direct screwing.
