This coat rack ships assembled, ready to mount. Prefer to build it yourself? The parts are sold individually. Shown here in the medium size (58.5 cm): for the small (48.5 cm) or large (68.5 cm) size, use 100 or 200 mm pipes between the tees.

Tools: two long pipes as levers, adjustable wrench, spirit level, drill and screwdriver.
1Piece by piece, by hand
Starting from an elbow: the 50 mm pipe, then a tee. Screw them on by hand first.
2Tightening without tools
Two long pipes in the fittings act as levers, braced against a table: tighten until the thread is almost hidden and the outlets are lined up.
3On to the second elbow, then the flanges
Same method for each tee. The flanges screw onto the elbows.
Apply it yourself4The finish
Degrease the iron, then apply clear varnish or metal paint before fitting the tap heads.
5The tap heads
Screwed into the tees by hand, then with an adjustable wrench if needed, handles lined up.
6Six screws into the wall
Level the coat rack, mark the six holes, drill, then fit the wall plugs and screws.
Tip: a little oil or penetrating spray on the threads: the fittings tighten further. Degrease afterwards, before the finish.
