Use
The threaded (male) steel pipes can be combined with any tapped (female) cast iron fitting of the same size to create plumbing pipe structures. The 60mm pipes are ideal for extremely large "Do It Yourself" industrial decor projects. They can be used to make furniture, pipe table legs, home fit-outs, storage units or decorative objects made from repurposed plumbing fittings. For projects requiring mounting on a wall or ceiling, don't forget to take the weight into account.
Cast iron pipes do not exist in this diameter; so-called "gas" pipes are made of welded steel.
Which Flange Should I Use with My 2" Pipes?
The 2" (50x60mm) floor flanges only come in a "solid" version. These can be drilled if required with a suitable drill bit.
If you prefer to use a pre-drilled flange, you will need to use a reducing coupling between the pipe and the flange, for example: Reducing coupling + 1"1/4 flange.
Features
The colour of the pipe cannot be guaranteed in this size. The appearance may be grainy medium grey or smooth dark grey. If this is important for your project, feel free to contact us before ordering.

60mm. The outside diameter of the pipe always corresponds to the second figure, in this case 50x60mm.

Does the Dimension Shown Include the Threading (Screw Thread)?
Yes, the dimensions shown include the threads at each end of the pipe. The pipe screws in about 24 mm (engagement in a fitting of the same size), depending on the tightening force.

Black steel. The word "black" indicates a type of steel finish but is not necessarily representative of the actual colour of the object (see below).
Colours
