Brass Reducing Bush M/F
Fourrure (bague de reduction) M/F brass screw-in, ultra-compacte, pour réduire ou augmenter le diameter d'un connection. Le male side de petit diameter se screws dans un female fitting, tandis que le female side de plus grand diameter accueille un male fitting. ISO 228-1 BSPP standard.
Description of the Brass Reducing Bush M/F
Cette reducing bush (ou bague de reduction) est un fitting ultra-court qui permet de passer d'un diameter à un autre dans un encombrement minimal. Le male side se screws dans un female fitting existant, et le female side accueille un male fitting de taille différente.
Sa compacité en fait la solution privilégiée lorsque l'espace est limité ou lorsque la discrétion est souhaitée. Contrairement à un manchon réduit ou une reduction classique, la reducing bush n'ajoute quasiment pas de longueur au assembly. Idéale pour les adaptations de diameter en espace restreint.

Installation tips
- Utilisez du PTFE tape (téflon) ou de la filasse pour assurer l'sealing sur les threads male
- Pour les portées de flat gasketes, utilisez un flat gasket d'épaisseur minimale 1 mm
- Serrez à la open-end wrench ou adjustable wrench — ne pas utiliser de pince multiprise pour éviter de marquer la pièce
- Appliquer un moderate tightening torque — un tightening excessif peut endommager le thread
