How the Union Works

Example of use

Imagine a square made of 4 elbows and 4 tubes. Because all threads are right-handed, the last tube cannot be screwed in without loosening the others. The union solves this: by dividing one side in two and placing a union in the center, each part can be tightened separately, then joined with the nut.
