The rack that leans on your wall
Two uprights standing on the floor, two flanges screwed to the wall, two stacked rails: this floor-to-wall rack turns any stretch of wall into a double-capacity wardrobe. No drilling into the floor: the lower flanges simply rest on it.
Authentic Industrial Character
Handmade in Annecy, in the French Alps, from genuine plumbing parts, every piece is unique. Malleable cast iron fittings and threaded steel pipes: a screwed assembly, with no welding, solid and built to last. The union-nut fittings built into the design let you close the frame without forcing anything — and take it apart just as easily. A union nut is screwed above each tee: the lower frame (uprights + lower rail) and the upper gantry (top rail + wall arms) each go together at their own pace, then meet through the two nuts.
What you receive
A ready-to-assemble kit, delivered partly assembled: every part is cleaned and varnished in our workshop. Assembly is done by hand, without tools. Only the wall fixing calls for a drill, with screws and plugs that you must choose for the type of wall you have — they are not included.
Choosing the right width
The width quoted is the usable hanging width — the length of rail between the uprights. The overall footprint adds about 8 cm. Allow 1 cm per slim hanger and 2 to 3 cm per thick coat to estimate capacity.
The wall arms hold the structure 29 cm clear of the wall: hangers turn freely without touching it, and the space behind the rails stays usable.
How many hangers?
An estimate based on the usable width — allow 1 cm per slim hanger and 2.5 cm per thick coat:
| Width | slim hangers — 1 rail / 2 rails | thick coats — 1 rail / 2 rails |
|---|---|---|
| 40 cm | 40 / 80 | 16 / 32 |
| 50 cm | 50 / 100 | 20 / 40 |
| 60 cm | 60 / 120 | 24 / 48 |
| 70 cm | 70 / 140 | 28 / 56 |
| 80 cm | 80 / 160 | 32 / 64 |
| 90 cm | 90 / 180 | 36 / 72 |
| 100 cm | 100 / 200 | 40 / 80 |
| 120 cm | 120 / 240 | 48 / 96 |
| 150 cm | 150 / 300 | 60 / 120 |

Details and Specific Features
The metal is protected by a clear varnish that keeps its raw look; wipe with a soft dry cloth, no water or abrasive products. For indoor use only.
Dimensions are theoretical: the tightening of each fitting and casting tolerances give a variation of about ± 5 mm on every measurement. Accessories and clothes shown in the photos are not included.
The materials may show slight differences in appearance compared to the photographs. These imperfections, which make each piece unique, are part of the raw, authentic and resolutely industrial character of every item sold by Home Invasion.
