Black Cast Iron Male Plug Plumbing Fitting with Stop Collar

This black cast iron male plug will allow you to add the finishing touch to your creation. It screws into a female (tapped) fitting. It screws into all female (tapped) black cast iron fittings or galvanized ones of the same size sold in our online shop. To close the end of a threaded pipe, choose the female plug. The parts simply screw together, without welding, to make strong assemblies easily.

Description of the Black Cast Iron Male Plug Fitting

This plug is the essential part to complete your project. The male plug is topped with a square head, so the fitting can easily be screwed in with a spanner.

Plugs are also available in a female version.

Male Plug Features and Uses

Although we use our fittings for decoration, this is a genuine plumbing part made of whiteheart malleable cast iron that complies with EN 10242 and ISO49 standards. Superior quality and a guarantee of rock-solid sturdiness!

The male thread on this part is tapered (R, known as BSPT, ISO 7-1 standard). It screws into the parallel tapped threads (Rp) of fittings of the same size.
