Brass Flat Seat Union F/F EPDM
Flat-seat union fitting F/F in brass with integrated EPDM gasket, for a dismountable and sealed connection between two male elements. The central swivel nut allows easy assembly and disassembly without moving the pipework. Standard ISO 228-1 BSPP.
Description of the Flat-Seat Union Fitting F/F in Brass
This three-piece union (two bodies + swivel nut) creates a dismounting point in a pipeline. Both tapped (female) sides accept male threaded fittings or pipes. The supplied EPDM gasket ensures sealing even after multiple disassemblies.
Essential for equipment requiring periodic maintenance (water heaters, pumps, filters). The union allows disconnecting the equipment without cutting or uncoupling the rest of the installation.

Installation tips
- Check that the EPDM gasket is correctly positioned before tightening
- Tighten with an open-end wrench or adjustable wrench — do not use pliers to avoid marking the fitting
- Apply moderate tightening torque — over-tightening may crush the EPDM gasket
