Technical Summary

- EN 10226 (formerly DIN), fully interchangeable with ISO 7-1 (BSPT): tapered external threads R, parallel internal threads Rp.
- Material: steel (grade S195T or equivalent).
- Process: welded tube, cut to length and threaded on both sides.
- Size: 3″ • DN 80 • 80 × 90 mm — OD 88.9 mm • ID ≈ 80.9 mm (indicative, depends on series).
- Min. thickness: ≈ 4.0 mm.
- Threading: BSP-T R 3″ (55°). L2 ≈ 36.5 mm; effective engagement ≈ 27 mm.
Use
Male threaded tubes compatible with any female tapped fitting of the same size (R/Rp 3″). Suitable for low-pressure threaded systems (water, air, steam ≤ 120°C) and for large-section industrial decor structures (furniture, bases, guardrails, etc.). For wall/ceiling attachments, consider the mass (see weight table).
Color (important)
Despite the "black steel" designation, the actual appearance is generally gray (from a grainy medium gray to a smooth dark gray). The shade may vary depending on the length, batch, and the light protective oil coating. If color uniformity is critical, please contact us before ordering.
