This Female/Female reducing coupling in black cast iron makes it easy to screw together threaded fittings or threaded pipes of different sizes. It is compatible with all black cast iron fittings or galvanized ones and threaded black steel pipes or galvanized ones of the same size sold in our online shop. The parts simply screw together, without welding, to make strong assemblies easily.

Description of the female/female reducing coupling:

The reducing coupling has two female (tapped) ends of different sizes. If you need a male end, you can opt for a male/female reducing coupling (if the female end needs to be the larger one) or a reducing bushing (if the male end needs to be the larger one).

Although we use our fittings for decoration, this is a genuine plumbing part made of whiteheart malleable cast iron that complies with EN 10242 and ISO49 standards. Superior quality and a guarantee of rock-solid sturdiness!

The female (tapped) threads on this part are parallel gas threads (Rp, ISO 7-1 standard). They accept the tapered male threads (R, known as BSPT) of pipes and fittings of the same size.
