Looking for a wardrobe with a workshop look, brighter than black but just as authentic? This single-bar rack made from real galvanised plumbing pipes and fittings brings a light industrial touch, ideal for bright interiors, Scandinavian dressing rooms, entry cloakrooms or vintage clothing boutiques.

Unlike hollow aluminium racks that bend after six months, this model weighs between 6 and 9 kg depending on size — real industrial plumbing, hand-assembled in Annecy.

Galvanised or black: which finish should you choose?

We offer the same rack in two finishes. Here is how to decide:

• Galvanised (this product) — light silver-grey shade, zinc highlights, raw workshop look. No lacquer, superior anti-corrosion protection. Perfect in a bright interior or a contemporary space.
• Lacquered black (see black version) — glossy anthracite shade, classic industrial-loft look. Better suited to dark or high-contrast interiors.

Handmade in Annecy

Each rack is assembled to order in our Alps workshop from galvanised malleable cast iron fittings (EN 10242 standard) and hot-dip galvanised steel pipes threaded to the ISO 228 standard. Nothing flashy, nothing fragile: just industrial parts repurposed to last.

Which height should you choose?

• 107 cm — children's rack, display for short items, accessories or scarves, extra bar for showroom.

• Fittings: galvanised malleable cast iron, EN 10242 standard
• Pipes: hot-dip galvanised steel, ISO 228 threading
• Nominal diameter: 3/4" (DN 20, 27 mm outer diameter)
• Finish: raw zinc, unlacquered — natural, non-uniform silver appearance

Care

No special maintenance required. A dry cloth is enough. For marks or dust, use a slightly damp cloth then wipe dry. Avoid abrasives that would scratch the zinc coating.

Delivery and assembly

Delivered to your home (Chronopost or UPS). No tools needed for assembly. Tightening is easier with two people for the larger sizes.
