Axial liquid-filled pressure gauge, stainless steel — Ø63 and Ø100
This gauge combines the rear connection (axial), for through-panel mounting, with a silicone filling in a stainless steel 304 case for vibration duty: booster set in a cabinet, enclosed pump, workshop bench, agricultural machine.
The damping fluid — same principle as glycerine-filled gauges — keeps the pointer steady; the manufacturer rates this series for applications subject to vibration or humid environments (condensation). EN 837-1, accuracy class 1.6, bar/psi dial under a glass window, brass movement with copper Bourdon tube, individual check at 5 measuring points. Two diameters: Ø63 (1/4") and Ø100 (1/2").
0-6 or 0-10 bar?
- 0 to 6 bar — fine reading at low pressure: regulator, circuit controlled between 2 and 4 bar.
- 0 to 10 bar — booster sets, compressors and common networks: working pressure stays within the recommended zone (max 75 % of full scale static, 65 % dynamic).
Mounting and connection
The brass connection has a BSPP male parallel thread (ISO 228-1): it screws into any female port of the same size — tee, socket, manifold or valve. Seal on the thread (PTFE tape or hemp) and always tighten on the wrench flats with a spanner, never by the case.
If the available port is larger than the gauge thread, a M/F reducing fitting adapts it: for example a 1/2" > 1/4" reducer to fit a 1/4" gauge on a 1/2" tee. Three finishes available: black cast iron M/F reducer, galvanised M/F reducer or brass M/F reducer.
For standard mounting on a tee or manifold (bottom connection): radial liquid-filled stainless steel gauge. For a panel without vibration: axial dry pressure gauge in ABS.

Media and operating limits
- Permissible media: any fluid compatible with brass and copper (water, compressed air…), except high-viscosity or crystallising fluids and hazardous or regulated substances (oxygen, gas, fuels, toxic agents…).
- Silicone filling: suitable for applications subject to vibration or humid environments (condensation) — exactly where dry gauges are prohibited.
- Ambient temperature: -40 °C to +65 °C.
