Plumbing Pipe for Deco 1'' | 26x34mm, Outside Diameter 34mm, in Black Steel

Use

The threaded (male) steel coils can be paired with any threaded (female) cast iron fitting of the same size to create plumbing pipe structures. The 34mm Pipes are ideal for larger industrial 'Do It Yourself' projects. They can be used to make furniture, table legs out of pipes, fittings, storage units or decorative objects out of diverted plumbing fittings. For projects requiring fixing to a wall or ceiling, don't forget to consider the weight. Cast iron pipes do not exist for this type of diameter; so-called "gas" pipes are made of welded steel.

Does the Dimension Indicated Include Thread (Screw Pitch)?

Yes, the dimensions shown include the Threads on each side of the pipe. The screwing is done over 10 to 15mm depending on the force exerted.

Black steel. The word "black" indicates a type of steel finish but is not necessarily representative of the actual colour of the object (see below).

The Thread design (angled and straight)

Ich love the quality, but its a bit sad, that there are two different typs of thread in the parts. Why are the tubes with an angled thread (like a cone) and the angled pipe with a straight thread. Perhaps i over saw it and you can buy angled pipe with a cone thread, or its for tighter fit reasons l, i dont know, but i dont like that 2 threadrows are still visible even if its super tight screwed. Hope you guys read it and give me a response :)

The use of both angled (conical) and straight threads is intentional and follows standard fitting practices to ensure compatibility, sealing reliability, and mechanical strength. The tubes with angled (tapered) threads are designed for sealing via thread deformation, while the straight-threaded angled pipe is meant to be used with sealing rings or washers for a secure and leak-proof connection.
This combination may result in visible thread rows even when the parts are fully tightened, but it does not affect the performance or integrity of the connection.
